In a gripping Milan Derby, Inter have blitzed AC Milan in the second half to turn a 2-goal down into an epic 4-2 comeback that sent the Nerazzurri top of Serie A.
Inter looked vulnerable at the back throughout the first half and in the 40th minute Zlatan Ibrahimovic headed a high ball down for Ante Rebic who tapped it home from two yards.
38-year-old Ibrahimovic kept haunting his former club after applying a header at the far post to beat the keeper, as Milan raced ahead with a 2-goal cushion before half-time.
However, after the break the Rossoneri hopes of securing the win faded in the space of two minutes when first Marcelo Brozovic fired Inter back into contention with a brilliant volley in the 51st minute.
And moments later it was all square when Alexis Sanchez cut the ball back to Matias Vecino, who slammed it home into the middle of the net.
The game swung from end-to-end 20 minutes from time when Stefan de Vrij met Antonio Candreva corner with a header that rose over GiGi Donnarumma into the top-left corner.
And Romelu Lukaku put the game beyond any doubt when the Belgian rose above a Milan defender to convert Victor Moses cross at the death to make sure his side leapfrogged Lazio and Juventus into top spot.
